The Rotary Club of Carbondale-Breakfast is an active service club in the city of Carbondale, Illinois and Jackson County. Our club believes in "hands-on" service projects. A few of the community organizations we have partnered with to support are: Black Diamond Ranch, Carbondale Police Department, the Carbondale Boys and Girls Club, the Women's Center, and Carbondale Community High School.
The Rotary Club of Carbondale-Breakfast meets every Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. (call to order occurs at 7:15) in the Cambria Room of the Student Center on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Here is a street map. SIUC is south of the center of Carbondale on Route 51. The Student Center is west of McAndrew Stadium and along the eastern edge of Thompson Woods. Visitor parking meters are located between the Student Center and McAndrew Stadium. The Cambria Room is located in the extreme southwestern corner of the Student Center at ground level near the escalators and an outdoor eating patio. Breakfast items can be purchased in the nearby food court and brought to the Cambria Room. No meeting is held the last week of December because SIUC is closed between Christmas and New Year's Day.
